I do not know what the appeal is, but I seem to find myself
buying and searching for lace. Lace dresses, jackets, tops,
lingerie……everything lace. It feels like if it isn’t lace, then it is not cute
or dressy enough. I have an upcoming event, and as a dress girl, I am in need
of a new dress. Nothing else is appealing apart from elegant ultra-feminine
lace dresses; antique-rose, floral, Chantilly, embellished, macramé, guipure, etc. The more I
searched, the more I stumbled upon beautifully and expertly crafted lace
wonders; Valentino Macramé lace tunics, Lela Rose Antique-rose lace dress,
Lanvin bomber jacket, and a list of
others. Unfortunately, most of these darlings are WAY, WAY beyond my budget,
but they are certainly going into my numerous wish lists.

At the end of
day, if I do not find that one lace dress that meets whatever need I have, I
will settle for a floral print lace jacket, that has a boxy silhouette and fall
to a flattering point about my hips. I will most likely wear this jacket to add
statement appeal to an all-black/white dress.
